Colored Salt

I just read the post from @Corbin5 (Deborah) about the colorful honey, and remembered a present someone tried to pass on to me. It was salt that had artificial coloring added. It was called "See Salt" because the person who developed it had poor eyesight and was frustrated that she couldn't see how much salt she put on things.
It was a clever idea, but I declined.
Would you like to have artificially colored salt?

I love natural pink salt. If I have a choice, I use that. Right now I am using up some sea salt that someone gave me when they left Japan, but before that I had Himalayan pink salt in a grinder. (Incidentally, Himilayan pink salt is from a cave in Pakistan.)

@petatonicsca I know that the Himalayan pink salt s rock salt from the Punjab region of Pakistan, I buy it all the time, this is my husband favorite. I like more the "grey sea salt" from Bretagne in France.

@LadyDuck Someone gave me a small bag of that. Unfortunately it got wet in my bag on the way home so I never even got to try it! I also like "toasted sea salt" from Japan's Setonaikai.

no, but that's a good idea for someone who has poor eyesight.

I stay away from artificiality in anything as much as possible.
