I find oil splatter annoying when frying meat or fish. I don’t like it to settle anywhere especially on my face. So I'll use a ladle with long handle. For expert, perhaps they already mastered the art of cooking like this. What was the strangest procedure you have done while cooking? Photo credit: Pixabay.com

Yes, I hate it also, especially frying bangus (milkfish), which splatters oil always. So, I usually would let my hubby do the frying of milkfish.

At least there's always the substitution. I like "daing na bangus" and "sinugba" too in both boneless.

If cooking with oil, I make sure that I am very careful not to spoil any on the floor or on my face too.

I'm sort of the same about oil splattering. whenever I cook bacon and need to flip it I use long tongs and stand at arms length from the pan on my tiptoes, just to be as far from any splattering grease as i can haha

That's right. It's not funny after all when the oil lands in your anywhere in your skin.
