Yeah its supposed to hit everyones phone today.
Its just a national alert.
Many are so worried about it. I am not one of them.
I got one, but my son did not. So that is how efficient it is lol
I didnt think much about it as I already knew it was to happen.

I just got the alert myself. It caught me off guard at first but after I read the message, it made sense.

@akalinus Actually you commented that you thought it was an amber alert. At first it sounded like that but the buzzing kept going for a while.

@betlynfrnds I was just surprised because I did not know it was coming. I always look at the Amber Alerts in case the kid escapes from the car and knocks on my door asking for protection. It has never happened yet, but in today's world, you never know.

No, I didn't get it. They must have been testing the system in the US.

I have gotten two but I don“t think it was about an emergency in itself.
Rather it was to do with the battery being low and keeping me enough power to make an emergency call if needed as the battery came back full power a bit later on and I had not touched anything.
It was very puzzling to me at that time.

@akalinus
What I mean is the battery of a mobile even when its very low still has a certain amount of power.
There again it could be that their own power their own transmitters do not work well also and it gives out that message.
Right now I have an electric induction cooker thing that keeps going off so have to get that fixed too.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I don't know what an induction cooker is. My phone battery is always dying.
