Oh USPS , it's not like we needed another reason to hate you.

I was scrolling through my news feed a few minutes ago and stumbled across this story about a USPS postal worker who apparently got fed up with his job and dumped his mail at the side of the road. I'm not sure this is exactly news, but it is kind of funny.

Mind-boggling. It's really not a hard job, and the pay is outrageous. I can't understand why they are the way they are.

@thislittlepennyearns — wanna hear my post office horror stories as an employee? 1. When I first started I worked my tuchas off. A union steward told me to not work so hard. 2. A woman I worked with was fired FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES for sleeping on the job. Not just occasionally, either: every night she was asleep by midnight (we started at 11 PM). The post office fired her. She’d wait just under 90 days and appeal. The union got her the job back, WITH seniority and back pay. Plus, she had to re-learn the scheme we worked (since she’d been off for three months), so she got overtime for re-learning it. FOUR TIMES that happened.

I know,it's a good paying job. Youd think they'd try a little harder. I bust my you know what for barely above min wage so you can bet if I was getting paid what they do I wouldnt mess it up.

Stuff happens, as they say, and people do wild and crazy things. Of course, this little stunt may have had some serious legal consequences since tampering with mail is a federal offense. I guess I will never know since although I do remember the story, I never followed up on it and have no intention to. lol
