Cube Scouts

My son this year signed up to be a Tiger scout through the Boy Scouts. You know they have different levels so this is one about Lion’s. It’s his first year and he got his popcorn sale packet yesterday. So my husband last night texted some people about it and they our son is selling. My husbandms grandmother texted back saying she no longer supports the Boy Scouts because they are no longer Christian based because they removed they serve God and our Country from their oth. WTF! Really your saying no to a 6 year old because of that. It’s still Christian based they just don’t say that in there oth. They believe in love and respect of all people. Doing that is right to not only better yourself but others around you. Ugh!

That was kind of mean of your husbands grandmother but I'm sure your son will sell his popcorn and have a wonderful experience as a Tiger scout.

I hope so. It’s his first year and he is really excited about it all. I’m not going to tell him about his great grandparents not wanting to buy for that reason. If he asks I’ll just tell them they need money for seeing the doctors which would be true

@ShyBear88 you're right. You don't want him to think differently about his great grandparents or especially have his feelings hurt.
