Has X Factor UK Lost it's Wow Factor?

Is it jut me, or is the X Factor a little lacklustre this year? I still enjoy it, love the new judges and still love to see people living the dream but this year I'm sure they haven't shown as many of the mad and the bad acts as usual. I'm also thinking that they're showing more of the sob story acts. It all seems very rushed somehow. No boot camp but straight to the six chair challenge. I will say though that there is still a fair bit of talent amongst the hopefuls.
