I had to bathe the 2 Japanese Spitz, Xander and Macy. Xander is still white-furred but he often scratches so I thought maybe he has some small lice. I was able to remove the lice and ticks when he was soaked with soapsuds. I brushed him later. One thing I liked bathing Xander was he voluntarily raised his 2 front limbs on the cemented fence so I was able to apply soap in his abdomen and limbs. He enjoyed it. Then, I rinsed him in a big basin of water that is mixed with ¼ teaspoon of an insecticide powder. I wiped him with his own towel, brushed him, and powdered him with cornstarch with ? teaspoon of he insecticide. In contrast to Xander, Macy the female one, has turned dirty white. My sister said she frequently plays and lies down in the lawn grass. I bathed her too, but it took me longer to apply the soap and finger-brush her fur. A while back, I called her inside the house because she escaped and went to the lawn, and lied on her back. I want them both to maintain their newly-washed white fur. I have finished bathing the small Japanese Pomeranian Chibi 2 days ago. I hope to bathe the first 2 mixed breeds tomorrow, and the remaining dogs on Friday. Thursday is my consultation day.
