Have you counted your blessings?

So many times we are unhappy because we think that our life could be so much better. I have learned to think positive. The other way is to be dead alive. During my lifetime some terrible things have happened to me. I discovered though that everyone has pains and not all can compensate them with a beautiful memory. My husband died very young, barely 61 years old. But I had a beautiful marriage for almost 40 years. I talk to my loving dead one still, after almost 20 years from his depart. I lost a grandson when he was 7 years old. Would I have preferred not to get to know him so that I could skip the pain that I still have? By no means. He is still in my heart and I love him so. I don´t consider special blessings the amount of money I have. I live on a budget and who knows if the money I have will last until my death. We are born naked and we die naked. But the love I have around me is my bounty. Do you count your blessings once in a while? What are they?
