Helicopters Everywhere

I took the picture. A helicopter was circling overhead.

Lately, every time there is a news update, the sounds of a helicopter fills the air. They are there for disasters, car chases, accidents, breaking news, or whatever. I am in the wrong business. I should learn to pilot a helicopter and I would always be busy working. I would get to see things from a bird's eye view. Does anyone have a good, used helicopter to give me? Did you ever fly one or want to?

I have never put my foot on a helicopter and I have no intention to do. I alike airplanes, even small planes, but not helicopters.

@akalinus I thought yesterday that helicopters are not safe while I was typing and a helicopter crashed during the evening in the UK in front of a Stadium. We do not know for the moment how many victims.

@LadyDuck I saw a photo of the crash but did not get information. Did it fall on people trying to get in or what? That is terrible.

I don't like flying at all. I have no control over what happens. I have flown a number of times and always said I wanted to walk the next time.

I never fly on helicopters but on planes for 2-3 times. I heard that travel on helicopter feeling is slightly scary than planes.

I hate looking at the open space on helicopters. What if you fall out?

You could also avoid all the traffic with an helicopter! Sorry, that I don't have one to give you. Have you checked at the airport?

No, actually I can barely keep a car on the road and not the ditch. It would not matter with a helicopter. Think of all the money I can make because some guy robbed a bank and tried to run.

@akalinus You could start a whole new business, pick up a crook when they are on the lam. I'm sure crooks will appreciate that kind of service.

@1hopefulman That's funny. I never thought of a getaway helicopter.

It sounds like an exciting job. My late X had a friend who was a pilot and took us up and allowed us to take the controls for a few minutes. It whet my appetite to be a pilot.

You mean you don't want to be a pilot? It is a good thing you did not pull the wrong lever.

@just4him I misunderstood. So you pull a lever and it goes down. So you push the other way and it shoots up and hits a jet plane? What's not to like.

That is interesting. Would you be scared to do that? I would be.
