While driving a student home I noticed this tree. I love the colorful leaves on one side. I am puzzled by the fact that the other side is all dead and bare. So I wanted to share it. You can see another tree behind it a ways. One more fall foliage picture for you guys.

May be that tree is slowly dying.

Interesting! Is the side that still has leaves to the North? Just a guess.

How interesting it is! Perhaps the wind keeps to blow in one side

That is possible, I guess. I have seen trees around man made lakes that all tend to lean the same way.

I have seen them like that. It should probably be cut down as it has a problem on the other side that I guess will spread. We had an old apple tree like that. It was rotten inside.
