He tried to swim for it

Philippines

This guy hasn't seen his parent's grave for six years. He doesn't have money to pay the trip. So, what the hell he did, he swim for it. Gladly, the coastguard found him and gave him medical attention. Plus, the councilmen gave him ticket for his trip. Well, All souls day is fast approaching. Maybe I should pay a visit to my grand father which is two jeepney ride away.

That's what I don't understand @lovinangelsinstead21 because all souls day was on November 2nd and not Nov. 1st. He didn't make it and luckily he was found by the coast guard.

@louievill He was desperate and didn't have any money. News indicates that he was just working in the junk yard.

@Letranknight2015 why is your grandfather's grave underwater? His action was called perseverance + will. He was highly motivated.

My wife and I went to my home city this morning to visit the graves of my parents and relatives and we had an instant reunion with my sisters and my brother who brought along one of his sons and two daughters. My brother lives in Cadiz City in Negros Oriental and his son and youngest daughter are Chinese teachers at Hua Sion and Ateneo de Iloilo. The other daughter is a bank officer in Bohol. Though our "reunion" was only for a short time, we were all happy to have the chance to meet up. Only our oldest sister was not present because she's in Bohol.

Hello @sunrisefan There was one time that our visit to our Grand Father ended up in a family reunion. But I'm not sure this time. Good to your family you were able to reunite.

@Letranknight2015 I am glad someone found him and another one helped him. My grandfather is also very very far away and I cannot visit his grave. I would have wanted to bring him here to Israel to be buried but he wanted to be buried with my grandmother. So I talk to my G-d to ask for Him to make sure my grandfather's grave is fine.

I don't support him. This is not the solution. How many hours he could swim? When getting tired what was he doing. Though on the other hand he ga e his full efforts. For that only WHAT'S OFF TO HIM.

Hello @debjani1 I wonder, if you knew him, would have give him money for the ticket? I mean the guy would rather swim rather than rob some one to get a ticket home.
