Maintaining a Good Average

Nearing the end of the second day of NaNoWriMo and I'm pleased with how things are going so far. I'm managing to maintain a pace of just over 1,667 words a day these two days.
So far, one new character has already shown up. I wasn't expecting her, but she became a necessity very quickly. No, she won't be a love interest. Uma is the main character's summer au pair over the summer he turns 8 y.o.
I hope your Friday went well. Have you any plans for the weekend?

@DWDavis I only got three hundred or so words written yesterday. By the time I sat down to do it I was pooped. Maybe this afternoon will be better.

@DWDavis I only have plant catalogs that come regular in the spring. Most go right in the trash.

Friday was a rough day due to the vet visit. Is that you wife and one of your son's? Yes, today run of the mill, but tomorrow Redskins game and visit with son.
