DST Confusion

Daylight Saving Time ends on the first Sunday in November. What is it? Savings or Saving? It is most of the erroneously called Savings Time. The idea of the DST came from Benjamin Franklin. Hmmm. I did not know that. At the office, since we follow US, Europe, Asia, Middle East times, we are confused which time to follow in the USA time. Example for me I go to work at 5 AM Manila time that's 2 PM Pacific time. Some said we will move back to 4 AM and others say, we will move forward to 6 AM. I am still confused.

Here it was very easy and there was no confusion. We all turned our clocks back one hour. We have a bit more light in the morning and a little less in the evening.

@jobelbojel Anyways, there is not much we can do about it as we are stuck with whatever they do.

It took me a long time to become unconfused with the time change. This year was the first time I got it right. You move the clock backward an hour in fall, and move it ahead an hour in spring.

during Marcos regime, DST was also implemented. it is our time that we reduce an hour late. when i had my duty at 6AM-2PM, we actually had to be in the hospital at 5AM instead of 6AM. but this one is not during Marcos regime.

That is correct. I remember reading this but can't recall who implemented it. Thank you for refreshing my mind.

I hope you won’t be late for work. Or make a mistake of going home earlier.
