pulling
it separated and
lifting the edge
of the shirt a tiny bit
made a hole.
Not the kind of hole
you put a head through
one
you cover and the
noise overwhelms
the sound punctures
exploding
the light runs
to a dark closet
to hide
wait until the explosion stops
and
the dust
settling
allows the birds
and rays of sun
to return.
in the light
and the darkness
in the quiet
always away
from the explosions...

Thanks, i actually wrote it when I was 17 I found it the other evening when I was cleaning out some old stuff.
