A Little Denny Discount

One of the grocery stores I shop (of course I shop more than one store, otherwise I spend way too much on groceries than I smartly should) always has coupons on the back of their receipts, and one of the most common ones I will clip are the ones offering 15% off my meal at my local Denny's restaurant.
Right now I probably have about ten coupons lying around.
Granted, I hardly ever eat at Denny's. But occasionally us guys will meet up there in the morning for a meeting before work and I always have a coupon for the boss who will pay for the meal.
On certain late nights the wife and I might go.
Sometimes it is fun to present the coupons to other patrons of the restaurant who may not have a similar coupon. In a way it is sort of like paying it forward.
It's fun to save money whenever you can, and even to help someone else save a little bit too.
Incidentally, when I do eat at a Denny's, I almost always get an omelet, and it does not matter what time of day it is. When I am thinking Denny's, I am aways thinking breakfast fare.

Now I need to look at the back of my own grocery store receipts. I wonder what deals I've been missing?
The other half always gets Moons Over My Hammy at Denny's. ALWAYS. I tend to switch it up a bit.

@porwest They have pumpkin pancakes right now, although sometimes theirs can be a little gummy (I think they're cooked and then kept on a steam tray in the back).

@spiderdust Never really been a fan of pancakes, and not sure pumpkin pancakes would be any more appealing.

We do not have a Denny`s local, well I don`t know where any are anymore. I do IHOP like you do Denny`s but its also been a while since I ate there.

15 percent is definitely a nice little discount. We enjoy going there sometimes...in fact went a few days ago; wish we would have had a discount! I usually get the build your own grand slam.
