Bees ready for the winter.

They have their wrap around the beehive now. Made a candy board with a built-in insulation. they do have lots of bee bread too. Although they seam to be on the spot the same when it comes to protect their hive, the bees scout are very active even if the temperature is low. I thought I was alright without the smoker and the veil, but I guess not, I didn't get stung. They 'll need to be checked once in awhile, not as often

The bees will come out in the Winter if the temperature is hovering around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Morley for the first year I left them their honey for the winter time, why because it was a new package of bees I got only this year, the 2 others I had I lost them, so me it was to start all over again, I am more positif about it now that I know what I am doing.

Two of my children have bees. I've never been at their place in the winter so I've never seen what the beehive looks at winter. Its a very busy place in the summer...
