I opened my Facebook account and read a post of my son who arrived in the capital city of a nearby province. He posted that he was searching for a store to purchase a mouse, but he came across a church. I asked him if he visited the church and said a prayer, he replied, “yes, Ma”. It is our practice that whenever we go to a particular place, the first thing we do is visit and and acknowledge the church. This is also to keep us always safe and protected from harm. What building or structure do you visit first when you go to a new place?

We have the same belief as yours. My mother love to visit the church first wherever we go

i think almost all who are Roman Catholics have that same belief of visiting the church when going to a place the first time

There is not a first building or structure that I visit first when I go to a new place. I visit first what is closer to the hotel where we stay.

@ridingbet When we visited the United States Churches were not so common, especially catholic church.

Yes, we also visit the church and pay homage whenever we are in a new place. It is not difficult to find it because it is two of the things that most people go.

i agree. i think it is already a belief that Filipinos do visit their churches, even those of different religious affiliations.
