Formal Portrait

My other discussion that I posted before this one made me think long and hard as to when was the last time I actually took a formal photograph. From what I could recall id have to say it was as a senior in high school ! Many years ago. Its the last time I remember having to sit down and pose for a high school senior yearbook portrait. Since then any photo taken of me has been with friends or candids taken of me by friends or family with their own cameras or phones. I guess im not the kind that likes to be in front of the camera, but I do like being behind it taking photos. ** Doesn't the picture remind you of someone on here if he were to take a formal portrait. (hint, hint, @TheHorse , ahem, cough, nudge, nudge) I think he should use it as his new avatar** Photograph- Taken/Owned by me, Plethos

Nice picture lol! And there's nothing wrong with preferring to be behind the camera. I think a lot of people are like that. I think my last formal, or professional, photograph was a huge family photo over 10 years ago. My Daddy was still here, and I don't think anyone has had the urge to take another professional one without him here. Unless you want to count the ID when my Mom had surgery back in September, but I'd hardly call that formal lol.

I hate to be in front of a camera, my last I took a formal photograph has been the last month of April, I had to renew my ID, the photo must be less than 3 months old.

huh, i never thought of a i.d. picture as a formal photograph. so that would be about 10 or so years for me if i count i.d. photo.

@Plethos I don't know that I'd call it majestic. And I'm not sure that the 'serious' is quite appropriate either. The expression is more 'displeased' I think. My guess is that someone has used the last of the coffee.

That would indeed be a good avatar for the horse. We had some formal portraits when my son was a baby..but it wasn't individual.
