Watching the Parade

Got up at 6:am to get the turkey breast in the slow cooker. It needs to cook for about eight hours on low. The other sides can be cooked at my leisure. I try to plan ahead so I will not be stressed. Only two of us, so that helps.
Have been watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I love to watch it every year. It is one of the coldest yet. 27 degrees in New York! Amazing the work that goes into these balloons, 30, 40 and 50 feet in the air. Hopefully the wind will not be too bad and things will go smoothly.

turkey is not popular in indonesia, even there some people have turkey, but as pet, very rarely for consumption. but i personally like eating turkey, more delicious than chicken.

The parade does not come on TV here until 9 am.

That's great, a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving is always good! Glad you got to watch the Parade, I didn't....and haven't seen it in a long time.
