Strange Fears and Phobias

We are all scared of something. But what is it that scares you? Is your fear normal? Is it weird? Here are some of the many strange phobias.
Liticaphobia
Being that the United States is extremely sue happy, it isn’t surprising that some people are afraid of lawsuits. It’s a real fear. And because you could literally get sued for anything these days, it’s understandable that this is a scary thing. It really is.
Peladophobia
Peladophobia is a fear of bald people. This means you would be scared of Mr. Clean, Steve Harvey, Bruce Willis, and Howie Mandel.
Turophobia
If you’re from Wisconsin, then you better not have this fear. Turophobia is the fear of cheese. Didn’t think this was possible? Turns out it is. Sufferers of this strange phobia usually associate cheese with some kind of traumatic memory. Turophobes literally have to run away when they see cheese. And it isn’t always type specific while some are afraid of all cheese, some are afraid of just one cheese in particular. Maybe they are just scared of the stinky cheese.
Ablutophobia
Taking a bath is an essential form of personal hygiene. However, for people with Ablutophobia, they do not believe that washing or cleaning is doable because it is something that terrorizes them. This particular phobia should not be confused with fear of cleanliness, as the latter refers to the dread of the cleaning process itself. It is usually found in women and children experiencing emotional instabilities due to past traumas or other distressing reasons.
Something a little different to read on this Monday morning. The last Monday in November. Enjoy your day!

I appreciate spiders as they take care of other insects that spread diseases (mosquitoes etc) so I leave them alone and if they get to bossy in the house I carefully collect them in a glass or jar and set them loose outside.
It's the same thing with snakes. It's odd, since the fire and my losing my cats and dogs in the fire I understand nature more. If you realize with snakes that they will attack you out of fear you understand them more. If you come upon a snake just back slowly off and go around it (giving it a really wide berth) you will find that it won't attack. I still really don't care much for snakes but they too have their place in the balance of nature, they keep the population of mice and rats down which again keeps the transmission of diseases that are harmful to humans down.

Very interesting fears on that list...glad I don't have any of them! I am afraid of heights, spiders, bees, and the dentist. Possibly more, but those are all I can think of right now.

What a cool post! My two biggest fears are pretty normal: snakes and drowning.

I'm scared and phobia now when we experience 2 times of burn houses here, in a following day.
Everytime we hear a noise like something bomb, or we smell a smoke we always go outside because we don't want to experience it again. A burning house and someone die again.

Another strange fear is of losing things you don't have yet. I don't have to worry about that one because I don't have my mine yet so I can't have lost it! (LOL). Really my biggest fear is a common one, that is a fear of heights. I have written about it a couple of times and the hamburger I made out of the boy's gym coach's head when the girl's PE coach had to call him to lift me off the balance beam. He ended up at the hospital getting a tetnus shot because of the wounds...and was teased unmercifully by everyone about the cat that landed on his head. I had a pretty good set of nails back then..... I escaped torment because of the nails and the damage I did to the coach.....
