Power Service Interruption for Whole Day

Advisory tells that we have a power service interruption today from 8 in the morning to 5 this afternoon and our area is included. That’s long enough without having the electricity supplies. You would miss a lot for that span of time including myLot. I woke up past 9 and I’m glad that the electricity is still functioning. I thought the advisory did not push through. When I’m on my way to the bank, it really is but thankfully our location is spared. Gladly our location is not affected because the weather is very hot now. Do you become frustrated when there’s advisory like this? Photo Credit: pixabay.com

That is the perks of living in the city there is less power interruptions happening than those in the provinces. I am glad though you were not affected with the interruptions.

Yes, I'm just glad. It's seldom that we have that also. Only when there's emergency that the whole system should be shut down or for maintaining or upgrading purposes for the line and power source.

@ZedSmart In here the ourskirts of the city has this maintenance works happening more often but in the city itself it seldom happens and if it does it only last for 2-5 hours only.

@rsa101 Yes, not that long as we have notice that again this Saturday we have another schedule for 4 hours only. For now I think they have other reasons.

Why is that so? Are you experiencing power shortage?

@ZedSmart yes...we rarely have power cuts now. And if the temperature is fine they don't affect me at all

@amitkokiladitya Oh yes because you don't worry much about the weather during that time, although there are some activities that can be hampered.

It's good to know that you are experiencing winter there and power failure is not that a problem.

You are right. When there is calamity especially. One time, one of the posts in the street was hit by a car at late night and the electricity went off and back only the next evening. It's unexpected but no choice but to deal for the inconvenience.

Yes, it is frustrating to have power interruption schedule...at least they announced it early that we are able to prepare for it...but it is also for our own good since they are doing some improvements and repairs to adhere to customers satisfaction as far as electricity services is concerned...

Yes, of course. It's understandable. The most frustrating is the sudden cut because you do not have time to prepare.

So true. But at least that's only temporary and back after the maintenance or repair was done.
