Are you good at recognizing people

I can remember to have faced this one or two times

I'm pretty good with remembering faces.

If I interact with that person then it is easy for me to recall and recognize. But in case, I just seen the person without any interaction then it is difficult for me to recognize and remember where I have seen that particular person. Recently an young girl was smiling on me in a shop, I smiled back but I could not recollect where I met her and who is she. So I asked another lady who is she,( I felt I have seen her somewhere but I can't recollect where). The other lady told me, she is the relative of our neighbour. Then I remembered I seen her with my neighbours once but never talked to her.

My husband says that I have a photographic memory. I remember most of the details. My husband is very bad with it.
