Donkey Neighbors

Right down the road from where I live are donkeys. I was going to the store awhile back and noticed a baby donkey and his Mom close to the road. They were in a field with a fence of course. Nobody was around so I pulled over and snapped a few photos.
They probably thought I had food, so they came right up to me. It gave me a chance to pet them and get a few photos. It was a cool experience. Sort of like a private zoo. No crowds, just me and the donkeys. They are great neighbors. Very quiet and only require the owners to feed and water them.
Have you seen a donkey up close before? These were cool with the spots.

That is very cool, glad you have some donkey neighbors :) I don't think I have ever seen one in person.

@CarolDM I am sure he would, he does love animals! Maybe this coming summer we can get him to a zoo.

Those are pretty. Most of the ones around us are the usual gray color.

I love donkeys! They are so cute and sweet and very soft. I haven't been up to a donkey in years, but I saw one the other day when going somewhere it was out grazing with the other horses and of course I said in a childish voice, "A donkey!" haha
