Townsends : YT Channel

I am sure I've talked about this before. I discovered this channel because of a collaboration that the English Heritage Channel did with Townsends. Where English Heritage talks about England's Heritage, Townsends explores the lives of Colonial Americans, especially through their food. I love watching this channel because I learn a lot about recipes that people would be following back a couple of centuries ago, as well as the produce and meat that was available to them. Of course Townsends takes into consideration that foods readily available back then may not be so readily available or suitable now. You also have to take into consideration that some of those books call for entirely too much of something, or offer advice on things that have since been proven to be more dangerous than helpful. Anyway, Townsends is a pretty awesome YouTube Channel so I suggest checking it out. What's your favorite YouTube Channel?

I mostly listen to the story tellers (readers) and the abandoned explorers. That one sounds good tho thanks for the recommendation. Hope I get time to check it out.

If you are anything like me, you fall down a rabbit hole and won't find your way out until you either pass out from exhaustion or have finished watching them all. Okay, so I'm not THAT bad.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I will be like that if it were not for being interrupted

@Courage7 I'm not going to lie, I can be a right crabby butthead when I'm interrupted either whilst reading or watching television. It depends on who has interrupted me though.

cryaotic? Never heard of it. I play the sims 4 as well. I haven't in awhile, but I need to because they have a terrain update and I love manipulating the terrain.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Cry is a sweet and funny content creator. He doesn't do a lot of youtube anymore but does Twitch. He is adorable. I haven't tinkered with the terrain update. I am so bad at building haha

Thank for the information. I watch a variety of things that strike me as interesting or amusing on YouTube. Just recently watched some Galloping Gourmet episodes and then one night got into the Dean Martin Roasts and could not stop watching.

I usually follow the suggestions youtube gives me. I go down a rabbit hole that way. Right now I am watching how to make a no sew fleece blanket because I watched how to do another kind last night.

I'm not much of a YouTube watcher. I use Netflix (although I'll probably drop that in the next year) and Craftsy videos.

The Townsends Youtube Channel has re-created a recipe based off of a cookbook that Old Salem translated from German. I would love it if Townsends and Old Salem collaborated on something. I don't really watch netflix, but I keep paying for it because my nephew watches it when he's here.
