Never learned his lesson

I am never too particular about anything, I try to put things back in their place but I am never worried if they are not.. My two boys have given me sufficient training in that.. now our pet has taken over.. he leaves his toys and chewy all around the house.
My husband on the other hand has not learned his lessons from the boys..He really loses his cool if someone touches his personal belongings. The boys often help themselves to his aftershaves and deodorants, he doesn't mind that awfully, but it has to be left in the exact same place and in the exact same position as he had placed it..
I usually take a look around his stuff before he reaches home and put things in place.. I hate to see him so upset.. I try to tell him its okay after all its just a few inches away.. but he will not see reason.
This usually gives us a good laugh.. He calms down after a while.. I wonder if he will ever change in this one aspect of life..
Are you a perfectionist on the slightly obsessive side?

I am also a bit like your husband. My husband do not keep his beddings well on his part of the bed sometimes. So, even if I will be already late to gout and take a public ride, I really would fix our bedrooms well, first.
That is because, I go home ahead of him from our office and I want to see a neat and orderly bedroom, when I go inside to rest.

I do not know how to put it. I lay down systems and expect they are followed but left to me I am kind of a messy person

@sofssu My husband said his three Hail Mary's before opening my cupboard. Not sure if he got what he was looking for (lol)

@nawala123 Good for you. Does being impulsive get you into trouble often?

Ha ha...This is identical to the scenario in our house except that the kids have flown the nest.
I have instances of phoning the help and asking her to get t the house in order if the boys are there with their father and I am away before he comes back from office
I don't mind a mess within limits

I am kind of OC, so yeah. But it’s hard to be one sometimes.
