Prices are going up

So the other day I mentioned about the gas prices being low and well I guess i shouldn't have said anything, cause they are going up again. Last night on my way home from work the price was at $2.02 a gallon. I would have stopped and got gas but I was at 3/4 a tank so no need. Well this morning on my way back to work, some 13 hours later, the price went up again. Now it is at $2.34 a gallon. Up $0.32 in 13 hours, I wonder what it will be at on my way home tonight. I was hoping to get a few more fill ups at the lower price but guess that isn't going to happen. I did fill up a 5 gallon and 1 gallon can, so I do have the extra 6 gallons of gas for the cheaper price. I'm sure before long we will be up close to $3 a gallon again. I guess I shouldn't complain I think it was in 2012 it was up in the $3.90 range, but then again I remember when I started driving and it was about $0.95 a gallon. Of course minimum wage then was $3.35 an hour.

I have heard and that still is crazy to me that it is that expensive.

Even for an American gallon, that price is absurdly cheap! Americans are going to have to start paying the same sort of prices that we pay in Europe if we are going to have a hope of restricting carbon emissions in any sensible way!

Lets hope not, can't afford higher prices on gas with all the driving we do over here. What they need to do is make electric cars more affordable. Then again all the politicians have their money in oil so they wont allow that.

@Bensen32 That's just going to have to change. The world simply cannot afford to be oil-based and coal-based in future. I'm sorry (no I'm not) for all those multi-billionaires and rich politicians, but relative poverty is heading their way!

Whoa that spiked really fast. I hope t drops down quickly. Here I think it is around 2.70 USD per gallon but it does fluctuate for sure.

Always does, never seems to stay the same for very long.
