My computer died completely last night and my computer person came by early to pick it up. I was going to say my computer is MIA but there is no current action at present so my initials stand for Missing Because of Death (the death of my computer). So a small warning expect typos which I edit if I notice them. One of the malware programs that was recommended done me to use informed me that my chromium browser wasn't secure but chrome wouldn't open for me. After downloading chrome again I was told it was already on my computer although it still w wouldn't open and then I got the kernel message and it kept shutting down more and more. My computer person, Stu thinks it sounds like my hard drive needs to be replaced so that will tell two days and then he'll have to reload my programs on there. Fun, fun. I'll be using my phone until it returns. The image shows all the wires that were hooked to the back and the space where my tower sat. Update: Stu texted me to say my hard drive is fine. We will see what the problem is.

Hard drive, it means you need to reformat the whole computer! I wish you're able to back up some important files if you're able to open it

It happened the first time several days ago when I first got the kernel error. My computer iteration recommended that I run a malware check and cleaner on my system and that seemed to fix it. But, I did take time to save as much to an external hard drive as I would. I got the files for our business, all my pictures and I deleted the unimportant ones from my computer. I saved some other files too but didn't want to completely full up my external drive. My plan was) it's too buy another one this weekend. There is a sale where I work and I can get it for over thirty dollars off work an employee discount and Santa bucks. I was hoping to save the remaining files before having to take it in for a check. The young man I work with can usually retrieve the files I need but I don't know whether it can crash so much that nothing can be gotten from it or whether mine reached that point already or not.

@MarshaMusselman I see, that's good to hear that you're able to save some of the important files and it's good to hear that you have someone who has knowledge on what to do if something happened.

That’s great news it’s not the hard drive. I hope it’s an easy fix and you get it back soon.
