in Indonesian and javanese language, hawk, falcon, and eagle are same. they all are called "elang". when i google them , there are so many differences among them, but those don't work for me. juts like raven and crow, they also just called "gagak". so simple. but we sometimes have more than 5 words just 1 things or activitiy.

Sometimes a language does not have different names for the birds that they don“t have in their land.

In Pilipino we have words for eagle, falcon and hawk but adopted from both English and Spanish. Your word for crow " gagak " is similar to ours, here it's " uwak"

Sometimes words are interchangeable and are used randomly for various things like 'kangaroo'. We have so many types and sizes but 'kangaroo' covers them all.

@nawala123 How awesome to have tree kangaroos. There are some in the northern tip of Queensland and in Papua New Guinea too. We have one in Perth Zoo.
