Lighthearted Christmas

When I saw this saying I knew I had to use it. I figured it was about time for me to do a post that was lighthearted. I know there is a mistake- it should say you instead of your but that doesn't take away from the giggles it gave me.
Today here, it is raining and yucky. First thing this morning I had to go for a blood test. It poured all the way there and all the way back. There were parts of the road that were covered in water.
Now we are home and safe and I am looking forward to writing and so forth today. When it is rainy I am almost always more creative. So I try to take advantage of the dreary days and get down to work.
When we first got home we found puddles of water in the garage and the laundry room. Darn it, it looks like we will have to get a new roof sooner than we planned.
Isn't it funny how the minute you get a little money things start going wrong. Oh well, at least we can pay for it now.

It's supposed to rain all day here. My sinuses feel like someone's been hitting me in the face with a baseball bat (one of the "privileges" of living in a high-allergy area like the Ohio Valley). But all is good. After I get off tomorrow I don't have to go back to work until the 27th!

@HazySue I remember that from a cashier at Dollar General saying that when he paycheck money was gone after buying some groceries.
