I Will Be Spoiled

I must admit that I am not going to know how to act when we get back to normalcy. It was a four day weekend as I had Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off...
Now I will go back tomorrow and work for three days.
Then it's back off for another four days as I have New Year's Eve and New Year's Day off.
I am not going to know how to act.
Should be fun, though. My wife and I are planning on taking Mom with us, we will go to the casino on New Year's Eve, and TRY to win some money. Going to take $400 with us. $200 a piece. We will see how this fares. Usually we don't lose it all. But who knows?
I just want for once to have to have security escort us to our cars. Just once.
Either way, onward and upward. Back to the grind tomorrow. May the three days at least be profitable to help pay for Christmas and this little gambling excursion.

I just don't get gambling. It bores the hell out of me. My husband and I went to Vegas one year because we got the week in the time share for free. I think we *maybe* gambled $100 the whole week. If I put $20 in a slot machine, I'm bored before I even lose it all.

Winning or losing that Casino experience is exciting. I tried that with 20 dollars and broke even.

My husband is like you. He somewhat dreads returning to work after a few days off.
We only go to the casino 4-5 times a year and usually spend $10 each. I won $80 once!
Hahahaa! That's my big win story.
I hope that returning to work tomorrow isn't as bad as you expect.
Let us know how you and your ladies did at the casino last night.

That's the only way to gamble. Set yourself a limit and once that's gone...... it's time to head home. But I hope you win lots and lots of dollars.

We have holidays like that in September and October. It begins with our Jewish New Years and then our Day of Atonement and then our Sukkot holiday. It is a bit of a let down when they end. I felt lost when we had our holiday of Hannuka this year the beginning of December and then it was over and I felt a let down but one gets over it and moves on to other things.
