Good morning everyone! I hope you're doing well this morning. I hope you also know God loves you and He wants a relationship with you!!
My friend, a couple of weeks ago enlightened me that she needed prayers for her marriage. They were struggling for the last couple of years but things got really bad recently.
I have been praying every day for their marriage and this morning she text me saying, things feel brand new, they see God working in their lives and they are so much happier than they have been in YEARS!! =) I LOVE seeing God answer prayers, it is amazing every time and it confirms my faith even more.
Anyway, a lot got done already today. I took down the Christmas tree and all decorations, the kids put their gifts in their rooms, I did my devotions, my older 3 kiddos made pancakes for breakfast this morning (They love cooking like their dad does) and I wrote up their school worksheets earlier. So after clean up is done they will start on those. Then at some point we will take a walk later since it's supposed to be 60 degrees today!!

That is wonderful about your friends marriage.
That's great your kids made pancakes. I am not packing away any Christmas things yet. One year I took the tree down on Christmas night after my daughter went to bed. I am so bad with the OCD anymore so I slowly pack away a little every day until the very last thing the tree is taken down around New Year's Day.

You are such an inspiration to a lot of us. Whenever I begin to feel down, I wonder what you would do and I have my answer!! Just thought that I would stop by and say thanks... Great photo too lol. Love the little dollop of pancake batter on your daughter's nose!

I am so glad that God as answered your prayers for that couple.
He is a good and fair and just God.

I love seeing answered prayers as well, He is such a good Father!

Did you have a fake tree or a real one?
We have a fake one, so we keep it up til sometime in January.

@Courtlynn It was so sweet! We had a real tree and we won't ever again. Lol. I prefer my fake ones and we usually do keep ours up longer when it is fake.

@Courtlynn I didn't like the needles on it, they actually hurt!
I didn't like the upkeep of it, having to water it.
I didn't like how there were spaces in some areas then too many branches in another with no way to fix it.
And lastly, I don't like not being able to save it for next year!

@Johnroberts If we have nothing else to do then they do some form of school work whenever they have a break. =) Today it's just a few worksheets, nothing major.
