Books VS Movies

Who do you think should win this battle: the books or the movies made after them? I honestly prefer books because you can feel the emotions that the author is trying to portray more intense. Tell me your opinions!

Well, the book is how the author envisioned the story.But movies can bring the story to life.They have to know how much has to be left as is and still be true to the idea of the story.
