Good Saturday morning to all, from this side of the planet, how are you? Hope we are all up and about.
"Up and about" is one phrase we learned in college, specifically during our sophomore year in the college of nursing. It is a collective term which means "able to function, getting better, and in good health". Most often, it is included in our nurse's notes when we assess a patient under our care.
So, with 2018 leaving and 2019 coming in a few more days, I hope to be up and about.
I hope you all are too. That is why whatever discomforts we have now, I hope they will be gone as new year comes on Tuesday.
Are you up and about now?

@ridingbet Just too lazy to move
. Did you watch Howl's Moving Castle, the famous 2004 Japanese animated film? Howl was melting at one time when he was so sad (in my case, I am feeling lazy

@ridingbet Yes, I am. I just need to be on a diet and do some exercises. I started to teach Koreans and need to trim down.

by ''out'', do you mean out of the house? the ''up and about'' is actually a nurse's term for patients who are out of bed, walking, and feeling well while still inside the hospital ward.

@aureliah okay. i understand now. but being 'out' of the house would mean the person is already well and able to do activities of daily living
