Chibi in SWEATER

Chibi our pomeranian is the oldest dog we have at home. Although he eats well, his backbone can be felt when touched, and he has not enough fats stored that should keep him warm.
So my sister brought out one of his shirts and I put the blue one on him. When he was without the shirt, he kept on moving from one place to another because I thought he feels cold. When I put on the shirt,Chibi jumped on his chair, somewhat moved his body like experiencing seizure, then laid down and relaxed.
Chibi is now contented with his sweater. Now he is fast asleep and soundly and he feels warmer now.

@ridingbet My mother was thin as paper, she never feared cold, I am thin and I do not fear cold, we have a good blood circulation.

@LadyDuck not for me. my heart might not be able to work well with very hot or cold temperature.
prevention is still better than cure.
besides, you live in a cold country unlike us here, we live in a tropical country and we usually have hot climate.

fats can be in the form of adipose tissue, and this can regulate body temperature. chibi has less fat in his body and he needs the sweater to keep himself warm.
besides, chibi is already old so he has less fats in his body.

yes, we do take great care of him. he is the pet dog of my oldest brother. my brother wanted chibi to mate with female poms but chibi cannot ride on the back of poms. besides, he is already old.
he sleeps either in my room or in my son's. he lays on the blue door mat and it keeps him warm even while in his favorite green chair, as shown in the picture

human years, he is about 10 years old. if you multiply that to 7, he would be 70 years old now.
