Okay With The Surveys

I am usually not interested in taking surveys for money, but as I find more ways to earn a little extra cash for saving and investing, I decided to give it a go and see if I might have a little bit of fun and/or success with it. So I signed up for Survey Junkie.
Does anyone use this site? Any pointers? Any opinions on it? How has it done for you? Are there other survey sites that pay better or that you like to use more?
Onward and upward as I always like to say.

That is my favorite survey site of all so far, if you keep at it, it won't take long to make that 10.00 and it pays very fast.. here is my screen shot of it.

@porwest That's awesome and no not really, I mean I have my days where I make a few bucks and days I only make cents. But I have cashed out 4 times so far.

@porwest @dgobucks226 I think the surveys I do are based in Australia but I'm too middle-class and old I think.

The problem I find with them is that I am not a shopper, a spender, I am not hip nor do I care about new technology and what not, and so most of the time I do not qualify for a survey. BUT, I did already cash out once with $10.13 and right now I have about $6 in the bank. I did one this morning that I actually earned $1.65 on so that was cool. But MOST of them are boring. I will keep doing it so long as I can cash out.

Well, I tried to take the first survey and it said I did not qualify but they still gave me 3 points. So far as I can tell a point is worth a penny. Minimum cashout is $10, so it might take me a while to get there. But I will see. I will try it for a solid month and see what happens. This is one of the things about survey sites I don't like. You rarely get to do an actual survey I have found. We will see if this one turns out to be a little bit different.

@responsiveme I am not sure where I stand with it currently. Today I made about $4. It MUST be a fluke. CAN it be that easy? Time will tell. Like I said, I will give it a solid month and see what I think about it.

I did a survey site at one time where I could purchase a music download with the points earned. When they discontinued that prize I lost interest. My problem with surveys is the time involved to complete them in addition to not qualifying for many. I do trivia quizzes with Microsoft Rewards now, which I like very much, even though you need a ton of points to qualify for a worthwhile prize. For me it's much more enjoyable vs providing product opinions.

I much prefer anything that can be converted to money. I don't want for much so "stuff" is useless to me and not worth my time. I agree about the length of time it takes to do some of these surveys though. Some of them are very lengthy and there have been a couple I spent more than 20 minutes on only to get to a point where it said "Sorry, but you do not qualify for this survey but here's 3 points for trying." That's 3 cents when it was a survey that said it was worth $2. lol

I am not privy to how the survey junkie works. But if I need money, all I have to do is to tutor someone or keep an old person company. Not that I used them for monetary gain. I offered my services for free. They insisted on the sum. I would have been happy with a lunch treat.
