My brain is still not working right...

I just got a phone call saying that I missed an appointment today, which of course I had completely forgotten about. 
The doctor said she had a "brief" appointment tomorrow afternoon, which I can get to--I don't know what "brief" means, but I guess I should go. It gave me the excuse to hang up my 2019 calendar in the kitchen. I had ordered two 2019 calendars, but so far only one of them has come. I got a free one from the family investment firm that is hanging on the inside of one of the cupboards in the kitchen too. Nice to get free calendars, but they're not always my style.
Anyway, she said that she had a "brief" appointment tomorrow afternoon, so I may as well go.
I hope that you are getting everything done and getting to all the places you need to be in your part of myLot land !

I started to read your post and checked to make sure I did not miss any appointments. I had that happen to me before and now do not want it to happen again. I get a free calendar and I have also made my own.

Welcome to the "Oops I forgot" club! I have forgotten appointments and usually have a calendar in my purse that I note the appointment in...except that I lost the calendar...sigh. My first appointment of the New Year is on Thursday in Santa Maria for a shot in my lower spine. Actually it amounts to several shots in the spine. I have anesthesia first so that the shot in the spine doesn's hurt so bad...but the anesthesia shot makes up for the shot in the spine supposedly not hurting. It's supposed to make my back and legs not hurt so bad when I sit, stand and walk. I'm not pinning a lot of hopes on the shot, I've had them before. Anyhow we go down tomorrow and spend the night On the way down I plan to stop by the shop and note down my work days at the shop...again...so I don't forget my work days. I did that too. Any how, because I'm dreading the shot I'm remembering the appointment. My appointment keeper now is Bill...he is great at keeping my appointments for me. He has a calendar on his desk that he keeps all the appointments on.
