30% increase in depression rates in 2018

According to a recent study their has been an tremendous increase in the depression rates among humans. God knows where is the human generation heading towards. I really do y understand what is the reason for depression?

I think this new lifestyle account for this. Lack of communication with our family members due to this hectic life can be one of the causes. Nowadays there are more conflicts and families are splitting. Furthermore with advancement in technology the business world has become more complex and jobs are now more challenging causing stress.

Increased expectations from life and not having them fulfilled, more stressful workplaces, increased academic workload in schools and changing social setups. Add to these erratic food habits, more processed foods and hence depression is on rise. Perhaps the whole human race needs to pause and do a course correction.
