Malibu Sunset?

Two days ago, we cycled along the beach at Malibu. At least I think it was Malibu. (Edit: I now think it was Venice Beach. Is that near Malibu?) The famous muscle beach is there. We cycled about 12 miles (round trip) and then stopped for beer and appetizers at a local restaurant.
I needed some silence, so I stepped outside, using a cig as an excuse. It happened to be sunset, so I took my camera out of my pocket and snapped this photo. I'll discuss why I needed to get away in another post.

It's nice to have a get away once in awhile. I do that too. The sunset is beautiful.

@TheHorse Same like how I enjoyed the sunset on the first day of the year. Just stood there and watch it.

@TheHorse That is awesome to hear. Where I live, we don't get the best sunsets, at least in the winter-time.

What you doing in Malibu, thought you lived up North. Stay in your lane bro. This my territory down here. Just kidding, sounded all Trump like right? I always liked Malibu even with with all the artificial stuff. Some of it is pretty and still some neat cool real things come out of the place. I am not sure what or who but sure something is out there that has some cool impact on the world.

@TheHorse Not far I think they are right next to each other. I get confused too in that regard. They all kind of run into one an other in true LA style. Santa Barbara is straight pretty, a bit to much about money for my taste but is one of the prettier places on the planet if you can look past that short coming.

While cycling, I bonded with my buddy's daughter's friend. She is 29 and is trying to quit smoking by vaping instead. I took a couple of hits of her vaping device, and found it fairly satisfying. But I don't know that I'd give up my half-a-pack-a-day cig habit for vaping. Has it worked for you?
