I Broke The Monotony

Till last evening I had been doing all this for years. Just at 5 a.m.I would leave my room for my regular long evening walk.I would first reach the square , make a turn to the left and proceed ahead towards a small, but dense jungle at the outskirts of my town with brisk steps.
I would walk along the same road, see the same shops and buildings, the same trees and the same market.Nothing new, nothing exciting.I had got fed up with the monotony.
Yesterday I decided to break this monotony. After leaving my room I did not go to the square.Instead,I took a different route - a longer one. I turned to the left and reached the temple and from there to the railway crossing.I crossed the overbridge near the Friday market and proceeded towards my destination - the jungle.
The monotony was broken.I had a much more exciting ,much more enjoyable walk last evening.

@Mavic123456 I found it very exciting. If you go for morning or evening walk,do you follow the same route?

Yes what is life, if we do not take the unexplored options?
Last year I recall my trip to Jim Corbett a lot, as it broke our monotony then. My only wish is to have more number of days available for trip next time.

It is nice to see something different. Sometimes I don't take the shortest route. I don't mind walking a bit longer if it gives me the chance to see a new area. When we take our dog for a walk in the park behind our house we don't follow the same route every time. Sometimes we turn to the left and sometimes we turn to the right.

@Berrygal That's good.Monotony makes everything boring and insipid.

That's means it is stray dogs who make or "force"you to change your route.Right?
