The Sun Shivering With Cold

Our area has been in the grip of a cold wave.Even now when I'm typing these words, I have put on my sweater,overcoat,thick woolen socks and everything possible that can help me protect myself from chilly cold.
Come evening and people in the town,who are out of their homes,would start burning fire by burning dry twigs and pieces of wood so that they can sit around it and warm themselves.
Cartoons speak louder than words.Last night I saw a cartoon that describes the situation in our town in a funny way.I am trying to describe the cartoon here.
Some men have made a fire by burning pieces of wood a little after the sunrise.They are sitting around the fire to warm themselves.Shivering with cold the sun sees the fire,stops and stretches his hands to make them reach near the fire so that he can receive warmth from the fire.

@Happy2BeMe I'm from the eastern part of India that has a hot climate. Today the temperature in daytime in my town was 25 C.Now it's night and the temperature has dipped to 10C.

It's cold here as well at the moment, 37 degrees F which is quite cold for us! Hope you stay warm. =)

@LovingMyBabies I'm from India,from the eastern part of the country.India is a hot country.The temperature at night in our area tonight is 10 C which is equal 50F. For us it is too cold.

@jstory07 Here in India temperature last night was 10 C which is equal to perhaps 50 F. We are not used to it.

@debjani1 The cartoon really described the situation we had those days.Now after the "Makarsankranti" there is some respite from that chilling cold.Days have started becoming longer.
