Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

Are you a ''glass half full'' type of person or a ''glass half empty'' one? Do you have the ability to see the good in a bad situation or do you always look on the dark side of things?
When life hands you a lemon are you the one who will make lemonade?
Speaking for myself, I'm more of an optimist. I see absolutely no point in going through life looking on the black side of things. There are very few situations which are completely hopeless.
It is said that every cloud has a silver lining but the opposite of that is also true - every silver lining has a cloud hanging around it. So do you see the cloud or the silver lining?

Most of the time, I'm an optimist, but every once in a while, I will slip!!

I try not to let that happen but, like you, I can't be optimistic all the time

We can sometimes get caught out by trying to be too optimistic

Life has taught me the world is a half empty glass that gets emptier as you grow older.

I believe that optimism is a better attitude to go through life with than pessimism

I think I'm the optimistic type. I think the longer I live the more evidence I see of things working out for the best even if it doesn't seem so at a particular moment in time. I've learnt to be patient and wait for 'bad' things to turn to 'good'.
