Meet Harley - Our Greatest Gift

In April of 2012, we came across Harley at a rescue. Harley was a 1 year old registered pug that someone simply had decided not to take when they moved. Oh and they forgot to tell anyone they weren't taking her. So, this lovely lady who did rescues ended up with her, but couldn't keep her. We weren't necessarily looking for a dog or so we thought, but we took Harley anyway! She came at just the right time because by July, I was doing a whole lot of sitting on the couch fighting cancer and she was right there with me! That was almost 7 years ago and she's definitely getting older, but still one of our very best gifts. As you can see by the picture, she agrees! Harley is stubborn and a bit sassy, she snores loudly and all the time, but we love her!! She came into our life at just the right time and we have tried to be nothing, but great stewards to a dog that easily might have died alone in an old house had someone not realized she might be in there.
