Weird Word Wednesday- Burble

The origin of burble, a verb, is Middle English. One definition is "to talk continuously". Another meaning is the sound running water makes in a stream.
When I consider the most common ways this word is used, it seems like a creative combination of "babble" and "gurgle".
Are any of you familiar with "burble"?
