Best Friends: Do you have any?

I may be mistaken, but I think nowadays, people consider everyone as a "friend" too fast.
They exchange a few minutes of conversation and are already called friends. However, in my opinion, real friends are those who know you, know your faults and still remain your friends. Of course there are the most diverse types of friendships, but the true ones have to go through several stages first.
Real friends I have few (and I can count on the fingers... some of them, since my childhood) and I feel very happy to know that I can trust anything to them. It's not the amount of friends that matters, much less time ... but rather what is shared so that friendship can actually arise and be maintained.
So, do you really have any best friends?

Yes I do have . Infact they are a group of friends in my buddhist organisation called Bharat Sokka Gakkai. I often pay a visit to there house, or they sometimes come to my house, and we chant together, share alot of thoughts, opinions etc.

Yes I consider myself to have bestfriends but they live far from me, but we communicate regularly. They have been my friends for a long time way back our college days. But it is very sad that I do not have a best friend who lives near to me. I

@WiseGhots it is sad if you live faraway, like one of them is ill at the moment. She's been in the country since October and will soon go back to US in February, she is very sick I wanted to hug her, to tell her stories, to make her laugh but distance is the problem, I only see her on photos sent to me by our other friends.

I had a best friend for many years , she passed away almost 10 years ago . I just haven't found another *Friend* that I can get as close as I was to Anita. I do miss her bunches though,I could tell her anything and everything.
My 10 year old grand daughter always calls someone her friend that she just met and gets frustrated with me because I ask her questions about them and she doesn't have the answers. I tell her that is just someone you talked too .
