birthday in heaven

Its my moms birthday tomorrow

Tomorrow will be the second year that she is celebrating her birthday in heaven. Me and my sister will go tomorrow morning to her grave and put some flowers on the grave. Even though she is no more I am sure she is sending me her blessings from above. WIll miss here always.

It is difficult losing a parent. Even though we always know that they are old and will go away some day we somehow are not prepared when the time comes.

it is so hard to lose a parent, my Dad passed away 22 years ago and I still miss him everyday. I am so sorry, I am glad you can think of the great memories you had with her and know she is watching out for ya

I lost my dad when I was a baby. And over the years all my older siblings have passed away. And then my mother. From being one of the youngest of seven siblings I have now become the oldest. Got one younger sister.

@DianneN Yes it was awful. When my brother passed away from a heart attack I knew somehow that mom would not be there for long after that. She passed away a little over a year after him.

The grave is a little far away from both our homes so it is not often that we get to go there. So we make sure we go there on her birthday and anniversary.

Yes somehow we never want our parents to go away. Inspite of them getting old. Their presence in our lives makes us feel a bit secure.
