How to make children eat vegetables?

Children and vegetables are not friends. this is almost a universal law.
I wasn't particularly a child who likes to eat vegetables and I don't know any that I like (I have a little cousin who has a real hatred for them, haha!).
My parents said to me, that they had to create a lot of fun games to make me eat them (and this didn't always work).
In your opinion, what would be the best way to solve this problem?

I put veggies in smoothies. Sometimes I make popsicles out of the smoothies and they get veggies that way too.

@WiseGhots Yes, things like spinach and sweet potatoes and butternut squash disguise themselves really well when you add berries and bananas.

"Don't feed them veggies."
LOL!
That makes sense after all. But, what kind of adult they will become?

My kids always ate vegetables so I never had to worry about that. I think sometimes we create our own problems. Their Dad and I always ate vegetables and even mentioned how good they were when they were good, so the kids did, too.
In contrast, I know a couple who have two little girls and they are forever worried that the kids don't eat enough, so they are always telling them "just one more bite" "eat your salad, then you can..." The kids play the game, too.
I think if you offer kids a well balanced meal and avoid sweets and treats, they will learn to eat what you give them, as long as you don't make a fuss about it.

Yes @WiseGhots mom worked hard to put good food on the table and we were taught that it was a privilege to get such good food, we ate everything she'd make for us.

I have and still am going through this with my two. Both of them ate all sorts as babies, then went off almost everything and then slowly expanded their tastes again.
We (the parents) are trying to eat plenty of fruit and veg as well, so that hopefully sets a good example. It also means we prepare plenty of different things so they can try and if they don't eat it it isn't wasted, we eat it instead! We also grow quite a few veg and they get involved with that (although that's no guarantee they will eat the results!)
We have plenty of variety available and try things prepared in different ways. Encourage them to try and if they don't like, that's OK. Try again another time or try a different sort. Try steaming the vegetables or frying or roasting them, or eating raw; one way may be more appealing.
For example we generally have 3 or 4 or even more types of vegetables with dinner. They will maybe only choose one type - but then they might nibble something else, for example a raw carrot as a snack rather than cooked ones with a meal. Our youngest won't touch cooked peas, but in season she will eat a whole bag of fresh ones from the pods. She loves sour apples (like cooking apples) and fresh sorrel leaves for their lemony taste. She won't touch strawberries or any other berries, or raisins (most children love them) but loves dried cranberries. Keep trying different things but don't make them seem like something nasty you have to get through to 'earn' a sweet treat afterwards!

Not sure actually. I did not like veggies when I was a kid either but I LOVE them now. I think our bodies tell us what we need ultimately, and despite all of the studies now, I think there is a reason we demand so much sugar when we are kids.

Make them into patties. Chop finely all the veggies then mix in a batter, form into patties and deep fry. Or you can prepare spring rolls with veggies as toppings.
