Does Anyone Else Avoid the News?

Does anyone else avoid the news sometimes? I reach a point where I simply don't know if I can listen to another negative story or another political story. I try my best to avoid it for a day or two when I get like this in hopes that something positive will come along. Does anyone else take a break from the news sometimes?

Yes, sometimes U need a break!! They get their ratings from sensationalizing even minor things!! The more negative news the better!! They need to add a little more good news!!

We don't have "regular" TV service here, so yes, we avoid the news! We could stream some news if we wanted to see it, but isn't it true that friends and co-workers will tell you everything they think you missed?

“Sometimes”? I read the headlines. I see our senator’s ugly mug and I go to another site. I have the NewsON app so I can watch the weather, skipping through the news.

I almost always watch the news, even when I don't watch anything else on tv. I want to know what is going on in the world.
