In this room Anne Frank and her family and other people lived for over two years before being captured by Nazis and taken to prison. She and her father died there. Her father discovered her diary and had it published. It is one of our world's greatest pieces of writing, telling of the Franks' and others' fate as a result of Hitler's hatred of all Jews, almost unbelievable evil.
