Do you believe garlic can reduce cholesterol level?

Yes, I heard it like that and I have seen many people add garlic in their food to get the advantage of the same. Some are busy on making ‘pickles’ with garlic to make sure the intake of garlic on daily basis. However, Garlic is a main ingredient in our recipes. It can add the taste so we use it along with ginger while cooking. Garlic can reduce the cholesterol level but if you use it along with your food it won’t make any difference. You have to chew the same sprinkling it with lemon juice in an empty stomach (not necessary in morning), then only you get the result. However, its strong smell is a problem for sure. It is better to walk half an hour in a day to keep away the cholesterol problem. Please share your experience and knowledge on this topic. Picture from google.

I read that it can prevent blot clots; a blood thinner. I try to use massive amounts of garlic when cooking; or we sprinkle our food with fried garlic chips to get the benefits of it.

This is explained by a doctor. I don't know how true it is. But common sense will tell us, cooking may destroy the quality.

Well, I like to use garlic in my food and I know it has some benefits for health, but I don't care much about that. As long as you don't exaggerate and you exercise, it should be no problem .

I've heard about the many health benefits of garlic and I used to munch them raw before bedtime but I stopped it because I developed acidic stomach. A friend told me that there is some part of the raw garlic which results in sour stomach so it's better cooked and mixed with food.

I think you have crossed the extreme limit. You need to take maximum five cloves in a day. Anything in excess will harm us. If you have any problems then it is better to take suggestions form your doctor.

Yes, you are right. What I realize, it won't work if we consume it in cooked form. One has to limit the intake, 4-5 cloves maximum in a day.
