My dad was a terrific gardener and I was very close to him. When he and Mum moved to a smaller bungalow back in 1999, he gave me a small Victorian tin bath that he had restored and which he'd used as a planter for years. Sadly he died less than a year later from cancer.
Last autumn Adam and I were sorting out our garage and we came across a cardboard box full of old bulbs that I'd forgotten about. Rather than just throw them out I decided to plant them around the garden and in various pots I had.
Just now I went out to put some rubbish in my recycling bin and thought I'd check on my pots to see if any of the bulbs had come up and I was pleased to see three little bulbs pushing through the compost in my dad's tin bath. However, there's not a single shoot pushing through in any of the other pots nor in my flowerbeds.
Must be a message from my dad to let me know he's still with me ... mustn't it????

It is what you believe and in believing the loved ones live on.

It possibly is. Glad they were still good as they will remind you of him for a long time.

It is definitely a sign, a message from your dad. He may be gone but he is always watching over you.
